Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Beijing Arrival
Arrival in Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China and the world's second most populous city. Meet and Greet with our guide at the Airport and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Beijing.
Day 2: In Beijing
We will begin our day with breakfast at hotel and then head to Tiananmen Square, the largest square on the planet and an important part of Chinese History. Later we will visit the Forbidden City which used to be an Imperial palace that dates back to the Ming dynasty. In the afternoon, we will visit the Temple of Heaven. This large temple is considered as one of the most important places of worship in China. We will see a Chinese Kung Fu Show in the evening. Overnight stay at Beijing.
Day 3: In Beijing
Today will be a very interesting day as we will visit the Great Wall of China in the Mutianyu and Badaling sections. This 3,946-mile wall is a symbol of China's ancient civilization and ranks among the greatest monuments in history. Guests have the option to climb these areas by cable car and go back down with toboggans instead of hiking. Later we will visit the Jade Factory. In the afternoon, your tour continues to the Summer Palace and its immense gardens, where the imperial court resided during summer. After the visit we will take you to a Tea Ceremony in a local tea house. Overnight stay at Beijing
Day 4: To Xian
On our last day in Beijing, we will visit the Hutongs of Beijing to see the old neighborhoods of the city. In the afternoon we will checkout from the hotel and catch the bullet train to Xian. Our guide will help you in the transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at Xian.
Day 5: In Xian
Today we will begin with a tour of Xian. Visit the Terracotta Warriors, a collection of over 6000 terracotta moulded soldiers, officers, horses and wagons depicting the army of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. The Terracotta Army was constructed beside the tomb of China's First Emperor as an afterlife guard for the Emperor. Later, we will visit a Pottery Making Factory. In the afternoon, visit to The Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Xian Museum. As the symbol of the old-line Xian, this Pagoda is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. Finally we will go and watch the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show (Closed from Dec to Mar). Overnight stay at Xian.
Day 6: To Shanghai
In the morning, we will visit the Xian City Wall, built during the Tang dynasty, also known as fortifications of Xian which used to serve as the city defences that are very well preserved. In the afternoon we will take the flight to Shanghai, China's largest city and a global financial hub. Its heart is the Bund, a famed waterfront promenade lined with colonial-era buildings. Across the Huangpu River rises the Pudong district's futuristic skyline, including the 632m. Shanghai Tower and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Overnight stay at Shanghai.
Day 7: In Shanghai
Full day tour of Shanghai with visit to the Shanghai History Museum to learn about the History and Culture. Later we will visit the Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower, the iconic TV Tower with its distinctive pink spheres. In the afternoon, we will visit the Yu Garden, a traditional Chinese park with beautiful pavilions, miniature lakes and bridges. Overnight stay at Shanghai.
Day 8: Departure
Today you are driven to the Airport for your flight back home.
