Day 1: Kochi Arrival
Arrival in Kochi Airport. Meet and Greet with Santos King representative and transfer to hotel in Kochi where you will receive the bike and final tune up will be done. Overnight stay in Hotel at Fort Kochi.
Day 2: Fort Kochi
Today we will go for a sightseeing ride in Fort Kochi and Mattancherry and visit the historical heritage sites - Santa Cruz Basilica, Indo-Portuguese Museum, Dutch Cemetry, St. Francis Church, Dhobi Ghat, Traditional Chinese Fishing Nets, Dutch Palace, Paradesi Synagogue, Jew Town and Spice Market. In the evening, we will watch Kathakali show in the theatre. Overnight stay at Fort Kochi.
Day 3: Fort Kochi - Paravur
Morning ride through the connecting islands overlooking picturesque backwaters, traditional chinese fishing nets, rustic villages and busy town markets. You will also have a wonderful experience of crossing some of the islands by ferry. In the afternoon, we will go for a Kayak trip in the backwaters of Paravur where you will experience the life of people living along these narrow canals. Overnight stay in Hotel at Paravur.
Day 4: Paravur - Illithode
Sightseeing ride in Muziris covering the heritage sites - Paravur & Chendamangalam synagogues, Vypeekotta Seminary, Paliam Palace Museum, Kottapuram Fort and Market, Cheraman Juma Masjid, Kodungallur Bhagavathy Temple, Pallippuram Fort, The Manjumatha Church, Sahodaran Ayyappan Museum. In the evening we will be transferred to Illithode. Overnight stay in resort at Illithode.
Day 5: Illithode
Morning ride to Thattekad to visit the famous 'Salim Ali bird sanctuary', home to over 322 species of birds. Later ride to Kodanad to visit one of the largest elephant training centres in Kerala. In the evening we will go for Kayaking and Fishing in the river Periyar followed by an optional Ayurvedic massage. Overnight stay at Illithode.
Day 6: Illithode - Munnar
Early morning ride to Adimali via Kothamangalam town. Later go for a challenging uphill ride to Munnar, the popular hill station in Kerala. Evening check-in to resort. Overnight stay in resort at Munnar.
Day 7: Top Station
Ride uphill to Top Station, offering panoramic views of the majestic Western Ghats and the valley of Theni district of Tamil Nadu. Later, we will go for a trek in Ellappatti. Overnight stay in camp at Ellappatti.
Day 8: Ellappatti - Thekkady
Morning ride through the scenic Western Ghats covered with tea and spice plantations to Periyar wildlife reserve. Enroute we will stop by a Spice Garden to see various spices growing. Evening check-in to hotel. Later watch traditional martial arts of Kerala, popularly known as Kalaripayattu in theatre. Overnight stay in resort at Thekkady.
Day 9: Thekkady - Kuttikanam
Early morning boating at Periyar lake. Later ride to Kuttikanam, a picturesque plantation town and an up-market resort under British Raj. Enroute visits to Vandiperiyar market, Tea factory to see tea processing and Parunthumpara (Eagle Rock) to see a bird's eye view of an endless stretch of green forest land and low-lying areas. Overnight stay in hotel at Kuttikkanam.
Day 10: Kumarakom (Houseboat)
Early morning ride to Kumarakom, a popular backwater destination set in the backdrop of the vast picturesque Vembanad lake. Afternoon check-in in to your floating houseboat (Kettuvallam). Cruise through the backwaters of Vembanad lake. Overnight stay in Houseboat.
Day 11: In Houseboat
Morning ride through the paddy fields of Kuttanad. Rest of the day is free to relax in the houseboat. Overnight stay in Houseboat.
Day 12: Alappuzha - Mararikulam
Check-out from houseboat at Alappuzha and ride through rustic villages past markets, old lighthouse, beaches, temples and churches to Mararikulam, a fishing village with the pristine palm-fringed white sand Marari beach lined with fisherman boats. Rest of the day is free to relax in beach resort. Overnight stay in resort at Mararikulam.
Day 13: Mararikulam
Day at leisure. Overnight stay at Mararikulam.
Day 14: Departure
Time to say good bye from Kerala after a long and memorable Cycle tour. Transfer to Kochi airport.
